It's Times Colonist Island Savings Open week! Jeremy and Jeff do the show over looking the 18th green at the Uplands Golf Club. Tournament Director Murray Thomas is on the show to chat about the organizational efforts involved in running the event, changes to how things are run now that the PGA Tour is attached to the event, and a number other topics in regards to the tournament. Murray also talks about some of the players who might be in contention on Sunday.

The 'Voice of Canadian Golf', Bob Weeks of Score Golf Magazine, and golf analyst for TSN joins Jeremy and Jeff on The Vancouver Island Golf Show this week. The guy's talk about the new anchored putting ban, the Sergio Garcia/Tiger Woods feud, and Canadian golf amongst a number of other things. Jeff also talks about the 65 yard pitch shot on 'Sticks Fix'.

Jeremy is solo this week, and has a chat with Jeff Ciecko of CK Golf Solutions about the business side of the golf industry. The guy's talk about where the industry is at now, and where it's going in the future. They also talk about what golfers are looking for in choosing a golf course to play, outside of the box marketing strategies that some courses have found success with, and how the economy is influencing the industry amongst a number of other topics.

Jeremy talks with mental training consultant Chrisite Gialoretto of Westmount Consulting this week. Christie works with athletes to improve their mental skills in an effort to performing at the their best. The two chat about what elite athletes are doing that others are not, how to prepare mentally for a round of golf, how to get your self 'In the Zone' on often, as well as the importance of visualization.
