If you look at Taylormade’s research and development (R & D) department over the years, it would seem as if they
have the driver figured out. Year after year Taylormade launches award winning drivers, coupled with the most advanced driver technology on the planet. The new Taylormade R15 driver incorporates everything their R & D department has learned over the years and put it all into this driver.

First off, the Taylormade R15 driver has a lower and more forward center of gravity (CG) to promote higher launch with lower spin. Part of this is achieved through the movable sliding weight system known as the Font Track system which has been the talk of the golf world for a couple of years now since the launch of the SLDR Driver. The Front Track system in the R15 has two movable weights (12.5 gram each) which moves weight closer or farther away from both the heel and toe to promote different ball flights (draw or fade).
The Front Track system also makes it super simple to finely tune the driver to your swing without the use of a number of stragically placed weights as in the previous R series drivers. This technology also performs like a Speed Pocket which reduces spin and increases the size of the sweet spot. The Taylormade 4 Inch Loft Sleeve is another piece of the puzzle that promotes higher launch with lower spin in the new Taylormade R15 driver. The loft sleeve fits into the hosel and allows you to tweak the loft, lie, and face angles of the club.
The Taylormade R15 driver is available in a 460cc head or a smaller 430cc head, and you can choose between a shinny black or a matte white color option.
